Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information ClockPath (“we,” “us”) collects when an employer and its staff use the ClockPath time-tracking service, how we use it, and the choices available. ClockPath is provided to businesses (the “employer”) who invite their staff to use it.

Information we collect

Account information such as name, email address, role, and the company you belong to. Time and attendance records including clock-in and clock-out times, breaks, scheduled shifts, and any notes you add. Location information: when you clock in or out, we record your device’s GPS coordinates and accuracy at that moment to confirm you are at an approved work site. We do not track your location continuously or in the background — only at the moment of a clock action. We also collect basic device and usage information needed to operate the service.

How we use information

To operate the clock, calculate worked hours and overtime, enforce geofences your employer configures, produce timesheets and reports for your employer, manage time off and accrued benefits, secure the service, and meet legal and recordkeeping obligations.

Who controls your data

Your employer is the controller of the workforce data in their workspace. We process it on their behalf. Requests to access, correct, or delete records should generally be directed to your employer; we will assist them as needed.

Sharing

We share information with service providers that host and operate the platform (for example, our database and hosting providers) under confidentiality obligations, and when required by law. We do not sell personal information, and we do not show third-party advertising.

Location data & consent

GPS capture happens only at a clock action and is used to verify presence at an approved site. The first time you clock in, you will be asked to consent to this location use. You can decline, but your employer may require an approved clock-in method to record your time.

Retention

We retain time and attendance records for as long as your employer’s account is active and as required for payroll and legal recordkeeping, after which they may be deleted or anonymized.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit use of your personal information. Contact your employer or us to exercise them.

Children

ClockPath is intended for use by employees and is not directed to children under 16. Where a minor is lawfully employed, their employer is responsible for any required parental or guardian consent.

Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the date above. Material changes will be communicated through the service.
